Saban Films announces that they have acquired U.S., Canada and U.K. rights to Todd Randall’s feature directorial debut Under the Stadium Lights.  The football drama stars Academy Award® nominee Laurence Fishburne (Matrix franchise, John Wick franchise), Milo Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge, The Outpost), Abigail Hawk (“Blue Bloods”) and Glenn Morshower (“24”, Moneyball).  John Collins and Hamid Torabpour penned the script based on a story by Chad Mitchell and Al Pickett.  Dr. Mark A. Smith, Hamid Torabpour, Camille Torabpour and Stelio Savante produced with executive producer Jacob Vogel.

Under the Stadium Lights follows the true story of West Texas’ ’09 Abilene High School football team — underdogs who rally against the odds to form a family and win their state championship.
