Courtney Eaton and Thomas Mann Set to Star in Brittany Snow’s September 17th

Yale Entertainment announced today that Courtney Eaton (“Yellowjackets,” Mad Max: Fury Road) and Thomas Mann (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Project X) are set to star in Yale Entertainment’s September 17th from actor Brittany Snow (X, Someone Great, the Pitch Perfect franchise) in her feature directorial debut. Eaton and Mann join previously announced Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up). Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin,” Deepwater Horizon) and Joel McHale (“Community,” Happily) join the all-star supporting cast, along with Francesca Reale (“Stranger Things,” Dating and New York), Jennifer Westfeldt (“Younger,” “Notes from the Underbelly”), Ekaterina Baker (Chick Fight, The Card Counter) and Kathryn Gallagher (“You,” “Modern Love”). Principal photography on the film recently wrapped in New York.

Based on an original story by Snow, who wrote the script alongside Becca Gleason, September 17th centers around Riley (Eaton), who has recently been released from rehab after struggling with her addictions to food and body image. She soon meets Ethan (Mann) and finds herself navigating the line between unconditional love and a new addiction.

Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman are producing under their Yale Entertainment banner. Lizzie Shapiro (Shiva Baby, Mickey and the Bear) is producing and Gus Deardoff is executive producing under their production banner, The Space Program. Michael J. Rothstein, Eric Broughton, Patrick Heaphy, Jeff Tussi, Kyle Stroud, Jason Kringstein, Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Russell Posternak, and Clay Pecorin are also executive producers.

The film was cast by Joey Montenarello of Stewart Whitley.
