Quiver to Release Relationship Drama THE WHEEL This Summer From Director Steve Pink

Quiver Distribution announced today they have acquired and will release acclaimed writer and director Steve Pink’s (About Last Night, Hot Tub Time Machine, High Fidelity) intimate relationship drama The Wheel on July 22, 2022. Starring Amber Midthunder (Hulu’s upcoming Prey, “Legion,” Hell or High Water, The Ice Road, “Roswell”) and Taylor Gray (“Star Wars: Rebels,” Skate Girl), the feature premiered to rave reviews at Toronto Film Festival last year, with The Hollywood Reporter lauding its ability to “pack an emotional punch.” Bethany-Anne Lind (“Reprisal,” “Doom Patrol”), Nelson Lee (“Stargirl,” Mulan), Carly Nykanen (“9-1-1,” “Bosch”), and Kevin Pasdon (“Dexter: New Blood,” About Fate) round out the cast, with a script from Trent Atkinson (“Home and Away”).

The drama is produced by Hurley/Pickle Productions. Pink, Atkinson, Midthunder, and Gray serve as producers alongside Josh Jason and Molly Gilula. Executive producers include Jeremy Hartman, Sam Dreyfus, Bobby & Ann Copeland, Aaron & Adam Jason, Max Hacker, and Riccardo Maddalosso.

Albee (Midthunder) and Walker (Gray), a young couple on the brink of divorce, rent a mountain getaway to save their fledgling marriage. Before long, their personal drama creates tension between their newly engaged AirBnB hosts — Ben (Lee) and Carly (Lind) — leaving us to wonder if either couples’ relationships will survive the weekend.
