DETROIT tells the story of civil unrest in the city during the summer of ’67. Director Kathryn Bigelow and writer Mark Boal conquer this over whelming story by zooming in on one accident that took place in the Asiers Hotel, in which an innocent man is charged with murder. Detroit hits theaters August 4, 2017.
