ATM: You wear so many hats and have so many projects going on–how do you find the time? How do you find balance?

RJR: It’s just doing what you love. If you have a true interest in something you will make the time to do it no matter what. Thankfully, I have found several projects that I am passionate about which makes it all

worth it.

ATM: I know how you became interested in acting; but how did you become involved in the restaurant and travel industries?

RJR: It came about through my nightlife business as a club promoter. Naturally, bringing people together has always been a passion of mine and the restaurant and travel industries allow me to do that in different ways.

ATM: I read that you are working on a project based on your life as a promoter. Do you have a story you can share with my readers?

RJR: There are so many! I am currently working on a story that will encompass many of them. It is about millennials facing love, business and some of the subliminal racial discriminations we deal with today.

ATM: What other projects is your production company working on?

RJR: We are currently working on music videos and short films. I am really excited to be able to share our work with everyone very soon.

ATM: What was your experience like working on “Den of Thieves?”

RJR: It was amazing!  While I was on set, didn’t seem as if I was actually in the movie.  “Den of Thieves” was my first feature film so the experience on set was fun and new to me. Working with the actors was great and we even formed somewhat of a brotherhood.

ATM: How did your childhood influence your life decisions?

RJR: If I hadn’t lost my father at a young age, I would have never moved out of my home when I was 16. Living alone at such a young age forces you to go out and hustle. My life choices were more aggressive because I had to take on that responsibility my father once had.

ATM: What advice/message do you have for other young men who may be struggling?

RJR: There may be rainy days, there may be storms, but behind it all the sky is always blue.

ATM: What’s the best advice anyone has given you?

RJR: Life is a marathon, not a sprint. That sticks with me when I’m trying to rush and do things too quickly.

ATM: What has been the worst advice anyone has given you?

RJR: I try to stay away from bad advice. {smile}

ATM: How did you get Esko as a pet?

RJR: A friend of mine has a small Pomeranian and he told me to come check out the new puppies. I saw Esko and it was love at first sight!
