How to apply:

CASTING CALL – NYC Non-Union Actors – VICE media is piloting a new web series called “Kid Bartender.”

The idea is to have a child (age 8-12ish) sit down with adults in need of life advice (parenting advice, dating advice, work advice, etc.) in a faux bar setting to see if a bit of blunt, juvenile wisdom can’t help fix life’s biggest problems.

VICE be hosting screen tests on Saturday, March 16th from 12 pm to 4 pm in NYC and are looking for potential kids who are curious, outgoing, and witty to participate as our “bartenders.”

During these screen tests, a parent or guardian will need to be present. Families can sign up for screen tests in 30 minutes intervals beginning at 12:00 pm.

This casting call is specifically for a screen test/audition, which is only for internal purposes and is unpaid. However, if the actor lands the role as the host for the show VICE will compensate them.

***For more info and to submit for an audition appointment, please email your photo/resume to aaron.barksdale@vice.com. Also include a link to any videos or a demo reel if you have one (no worries if you don’t).
