Academy Award-winner Graham Moore’s MIND FALL Marks Second Project from Studio 8 and Solstice Studios Partnership

Solstice Studios has acquired the futuristic thriller Mind Fall, written by Academy Award-winner Graham Moore (The Imitation Game) with Cedric Jimenez (The Connection) signed on to direct. Mind Fall, which will be produced by Studio 8’s Jeff Robinov, Guy Danella and John Graham, marks the second project to come from Studio 8 and Solstice Studios’ strategic partnership, whose most recent film includes Robert Rodriguez’s action thriller Hypnotic starring Academy Award-winner Ben Affleck. Solstice will finance and distribute the film in the U.S. and handle international sales.

Mind Fall is a thriller set in the near future where illegal new technology allows specific memories to be removed from one person’s brain and inserted into another’s. The story follows one woman’s journey into the black market of memories, soon finding herself accused of murdering a man she has no recollection of knowing.

Jimenez is an acclaimed French film producer, film director, and screenwriter, best known for The Connection, the action crime thriller inspired by the events of the original 1970s French Connection, and which premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival . His latest film, the forthcoming Bac Nord, is an ambitious thriller based on a true scandal involving three cops working in the tough neighborhoods of Marseille who were involved in drug trafficking. The film stars Gilles Lellouche and is scheduled to open late 2020.
