Quiver Distribution announced today that they have acquired U.S. rights to The Exchange from Academy Award® nominated Dan Mazer (Dirty Grandpa, I Give It a Year, Borat).  The outrageous comedy stars Justin Hartley (“This Is Us,” A Bad Moms Christmas), Avan Jogia (Zombieland: Double Tap, Shaft), Jennifer Irwin (Bad Teacher, No Strings Attached) and Ed Oxenbould (Paper Planes, The Visit).  Five-time Emmy Award winner Tim Long (“The Simpsons,” “Late Show with David Letterman”) penned the script.  Who’s On First Films’ Dan Hine, Elevation Pictures’ Noah Segal and First Generation Films’ Christina Piovesan produced.

The Exchange follows a socially awkward but highly enterprising teenager who decides to acquire a “mail-order best friend.”  Seeking a sophisticated exchange student from France, he instead ends up importing his personal nightmare, a cologne soaked, chain smoking, sex obsessed youth, who quickly becomes the hero of his new community.
