Marvel and Sony Agree To Continue Sharing Spider-Man For Second Trilogy with Tom Holland

While many attempted to secure tickets for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” this morning, Sony producer Amy Pascal confirmed that the MCU and Sony have agreed to terms on a second trilogy sharing the wall-crawler. Tom Holland will return, which should come as no surprise even despite his recent comments about playing the character into his 30’s. He has also been talking up how they treated the upcoming movie feeling like the “end of a franchise,” but Holland has also always spoken so highly about his time as Spider-Man, and his performance has seemingly been well-received in his outings as the character. Perhaps the timing of the news is a bit strange; but it can put to rest any worries about Spider-Man’s fate in the upcoming “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which will see Spidey face off against villains from past Spider-Man franchises.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” swings into theaters on December 17.
