BLACK BEAR SIGNS SWEDISH ACTOR SIMON LÖÖF

Black Bear has announced that their management arm has officially signed the talented Swedish actor and model, Simon Lööf, for representation. Lööf is currently taking on the lead role in Netflix’s highly anticipated Swedish thriller, An Honest Life, directed by Mikael Marcimain (Blackwater, The Laser Man, Call Girl). This film adaptation, based on Joakim Zander’s novel of the same title, is generating considerable buzz and is scheduled for a global release in 2024, further solidifying Simon Lööf’s status as a rising star in the industry.

Simon Lööf launched onto the scene in 2020, marking his acting debut in the hockey drama “Eagles.” He went on to captivate audiences in the critically acclaimed Swedish series “Threesome,” where he shared the screen with the talented Matilda Källström. Lööf’s commitment to storytelling recently led him to an exciting project “So Long, Marianne.” This upcoming series delves into the enchanting romance between legendary musician Leonard Cohen (portrayed by Alex Wolff) and Norwegian muse Marianne Ihlen, showcasing Simon’s versatility as an actor.

Lööf’s cinematic presence will be equally striking, as he is set to grace the silver screen in Paul W.S. Anderson’s next film, In The Lost Lands, a film based on a story by none other than George R. R. Martin. In this epic adventure, Simon stars alongside industry icons Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista.
