Judy Greer and Sophia Lillis to Star in the Dark Comedy KNIGHT”S CAMP

Daniel Bekerman, producer of The Apprentice, which premiered in competition in Cannes, has announced his next feature Knight’s Camp, a dark comedy with Judy Greer (13 Going on 30Ant-Man) and Sophia Lillis (ItDungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) attached to star. Filmmaking duo Kyle Rideout and Josh Epstein (Eadweard, Adventures in Public School and the upcoming Youngblood) co-wrote the script, with Rideout directing the picture. Daniel Bekerman (The ApprenticeThe Witch), Chris Yurkovich (Slash/Back), and Jordan Hart (I, Object) are producing for Good Question Media in association with Scythia Films, along with Epstein. Casting is currently underway.

Knight’s Camp follows four bubble-wrapped teens at a medieval-themed summer camp. On the eve of the camp’s famous Battle of Twin Bridge re-enactment, the teens ignite an old legend and are accidentally transported to the real battle in 1297 A.D., where they are tasked with saving one of their ancestors to preserve the future of their family lineage. Set in Scotland, Knight’s Campexplores the juxtaposition between the lives of modern-day teenagers and the brutal reality of bygone medieval times.

versatile character actresses working today, best known for her comedic roles in such beloved films as 13 Going on 30The Wedding Planner, and What Women Want. She has also captivated the small screen in cult-favorite series “Arrested Development” and “Archer,” starred opposite George Clooney in The Descendants, and joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe via the Ant-Man films.

Lillis broke out with her role as Beverly Marsh in the smash hit horror film It, which she reprised in It: Chapter Two, and has since taken Hollywood by storm. Most recently, she starred in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City and fantasy adventure epic Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, based on the massively popular role-playing game of the same name. She also appeared in acclaimed HBO thriller “Sharp Objects” and led dark comedy “I Am Not Okay With This” for Netflix.
