Hosted by Jason Kennedy and Erin Lim Rhodes, 5&2 Studios held a black carpet event for the U.S. premiere of The Chosen: Last Supper Season 5 on March 20. Over 600 fans attended the premiere in-person at B&B Theaters in Dallas, while 212,000 fans watched the livestream on The Chosen YouTube channel.
Cast in attendance (pictured above) included Jonathan Roumie, Shahar Isaac, Paras Patel, Elizabeth Tabish, creator/director Dallas Jenkins, among various producers and special guests.

Shot cinematically, Last Supper features Holy Week – the sixth and last week of Lent. Last Supper follows the celebration of Jesus as king and how the leaders of Rome attempt to make the upcoming Passover meal Jesus’s last. Season 5 will be released in theatres nationwide in the weeks leading up to Easter, starting March 28.
The Chosen is a historical drama based on the life of Jesus (played by Jonathan Roumie), and is set during the Roman oppression of first-century Israel. The show started as a crowd-funded project and has grown to amass 280 million viewers, over 17 million social media followers, seven seasons and is the first multi-season series about Jesus’s life and ministry.
