‘Animal Friends’, Starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Momoa, Delays Yet Again to 2027

Well, this is the fifth time that the titular film has been delayed. Hopping around like an animal indeed.

Animal Friends, an animated comedy film starring Ryan Reynolds (known for DeadpoolFree Guy) and Jason Momoa (AquamanA Minecraft Movie), has been postponed to January 22, 2027, after being scheduled to debut on June 5th. The premise states, ” The comedy follows two fugitive animals as they embark on an adventure across America, healing their friendship while being pursued by an equally “odd-couple” DEA agent and Fish & Wildlife ranger with something to prove.”

The film is directed by Peter Atencio and also stars Aubrey Plaza, Dan Levy, Vince Vaughn, Eric Andre, Addison Rae, and Lil Rel Howery.

It will be distributed by Warner Brothers Pictures.
