Margot Robbie Cast In Untitled Wes Anderson Film

Just a little over a week after Tom Hanks was announced as a part of Wes Anderson’s untitled film, It has been said that Margot Robbie (“The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Bombshell”) is slated to have join the cast. This marks the Australian actress’ first collaboration with the “Moonrise Kingdom” director.

Other cast members include longtime Wes Anderson collaborators Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, and Bill Murray. Plot details have been scarce and protected like the “Boy with Apple” painting in “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” but what is known is that it begins filming in Spain later this month.

Despite little being known about Wes Anderson’s next project, the news of an actress of Robbie’s caliber is exciting nonetheless, regardless of the size of her role. Robbie has been fully booked lately, with “The Suicide Squad” recently releasing and a total of nine projects coming down the pike including an untitled David O. Russell film and a “Barbie” film in which she will be playing the titular character.

Wes Anderson’s latest film, “The French Dispatch,” recently had its premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. It will also be making its domestic debut at the New York Film Festival which runs from late September to early October before coming the theaters on October 22.
