John Cena and Jason Momoa To Star In ‘Killer Vacation’ Action-Comedy

John Cena and Jason Momoa, two stars currently involved in Warner Brothers’ DC Extended Universe, are both signed on to star in an action-comedy picture, Killer Vacation.

The story is under wraps, but the script is written by Mark and Brian Gunn and produced by John Rickard and Peter Safran.

Cena currently stars in the acclaimed Peacemaker series, playing on HBO Max. Writer/producer James Gunn has confirmed a second season will take place after the viewership and reception of the first season and claimed it’s “safe” due to WB’s recent reshuffling of the entire DC mediocre franchise. He will also star in the upcoming Pierre Morel’s Freelance, Universal’s Fast X, Clay Tarver’s Honeymoon Friends, and Peter Farrelly’s Ricky Stanky. Momoa has also been involved in the DC universe playing the titular role of Aquaman in its origin story and the upcoming sequel dropping in December 2023. He will next be seen in Fast X alongside Cena, reportedly playing the main antagonist Dante.

The release date is TBD as of this time.
