Leading international sales, finance, and production outfit Protagonist Pictures has sold out international on the highly anticipated feature ahead of its World Premiere at the Berlinale, where the film will open the festival. Protagonist Pictures sold the film to members of its extensive network of international distribution partners, including Sky for the United Kingdom and Ireland, Belga for Benelux, Originals Factory for France, Lusomundo for Portugal, Trip Pictures for Spain, M2 Eastern for Europe, Cinesky for Airlines, Aud for South Korea and Shochiku for Japan.
In addition Universal Pictures Content Group has made a multi-territory deal that includes Germany, Austria, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Scandinavia, Iceland, Switzerland, Israel, Middle East, South Africa, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand, Latin America, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Asia Pay TV rights
The film will debut an original new song from Bruce Springsteen: “Addicted to Romance.”, and will be heard by audiences for the first time during the World Premiere screening today, February 16, 2023. The song will play over the film’s end credits. The National’s band member Bryce Dessner composed the score, and the decorated Kim Jennings (The Producers, Joker) is on board as production designer.
