Members of the media are invited to a LATINAFest Preview ahead of its 5th annual, Women’s History Month celebration. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the sites and sounds of LATINAFest including an interactive Sound Bath from Hazte Florecer which incorporates drums, gong, and flutes to provide a sound healing experience; Live Painting from Flower Fields Art Studio demonstrating techniques for creating beautiful art; Authentic and professionally skilled Henna Tattoo artist will be hennaing free-hand traditional Indian-Arabic designs; Typeaway Poetry will be offering Custom Poems written on a vintage typewriter; Paulina Clothing will exhibit Wearable Art inspired by Mexican fine art, culture and tradition; Megavi will showcase one-of-a-kind, Handmade Hats from San Francisco del Rincon, the hat-making capital of the world; And Con Todo Press will present Bilingual Children’s Books that celebrate Latino culture. Continental Breakfast will be provided until noon.
