Lionsgate hosted a special screening event for ARTHUR THE KING at AMC Century City in Los Angeles where star and producer Mark Wahlberg surprised the excited theater audience following the screening. He later joined co-stars Simu Liu and Ukai, who plays Arthur in the film, Paul Guilfoyle, Rob Collins, Cece Valentina along with director Simon Cellan Jones and the real-life inspiration behind the movie, Mikael Lindnord. Other producers in attendance included Tucker Tooley, Mark Canton, Tessa Tooley, Stephen Levinson, and executive producer Dorothy Canton, writer Michael Brandt, and editor Gary Roach.

In partnership with Best Friends Animals Society, screening guests had the chance to explore a pet adoption area featuring irresistibly cute puppies and dogs available for adoption. The event also featured various activities inspired by the film’s sport and adventure themes, such as a rock-climbing wall, a mountain bike VR station, a dog obstacle course, a paw printing station for the furry attendees, live performances, and more. The entire experience was open to the public throughout the day, drawing significant attention from both screening guests and mall-goers alike.
