Emmy-winner Wendey Stanzler (“Sex and the City,” “Parks and Recreation”) will direct the comedy Old Pals starring Golden Globe and Emmy Award®-winning actors Henry Winkler (“Barry”, “Happy Days”) and Brian Cox (“Succession,” Troy), as well as Emma Roberts (We’re the Millers, “American Horror Story”) and Golden Globe, SAG and Emmy Award- nominated Evan Rachel Wood (“Westworld,” Thirteen). Debbie Liebling (Jules, 65, “Pen15”) will produce for Inner Child Productions alongside Kim Bailey and Isabel Marden for Corporate Witchcraft (Clementine). NEON International will represent the foreign sales rights and introduce the film at the European FIlm Market in Berlin later this month while CAA Media Finance and Verve Ventures will represent the North American rights.
Based on a screenplay by Rick Cisario, Old Pals follows comical opposites and recent widowers, Ira (Winkler) and Jimmy (Cox), who are forced to become friends by their conspiring daughters (Roberts & Wood). Their initial stubbornness gives way to a hilarious journey of unexpected friendship, proving that family has a way of bringing even the most unlikely people together.

Brian Cox is a Golden Globe and Emmy Award®-winning Scottish actor recognized for his performance as Logan Roy in HBO’s dark comedy “Succession.” His other notable credits include Troy, X2: X-Men United, and The Ring, among other notable films and TV series.
Emma Roberts is an actress and producer known for her versatile work across both film and television with credits including comedies We’re The Millers and Holidate as well as satirical comedy series “Scream Queens” and horror series “American Horror Story.” Roberts serves as an Executive Producer on the Hulu hit series, Tell Me Lies, under her Belletrist Productions banner, which she co-founded alongside Karah Preiss.
Evan Rachel Wood is a Golden Globe, SAG and Emmy Award®- nominated actress and producer best known for her role as Dolores Abernathy in HBO’s dystopian drama “Westworld.” Notable film credits include Thirteen, Across the Universe, Whatever Works, and Kajillionaire.
