Bleecker Street & LD Entertainment Acquire U.S. Rights to ‘Bone Lake’

Bleecker Street has partnered with long-time collaborator LD Entertainment to acquire the American rights to Mercedes Bryce Morgan’s (Fixation, Spoonful of Sugar) darkly hilarious, seductive survival thriller Bone Lake starring Marco Pigossi (High Tide, “Gen V”), Maddie Hasson (Elevation, “Twisted”), Alex Roe (The 5th Wave, Hot Summer Nights) and Andra Nechita (“Matlock”, “The Sex Lives of College Girls”). The film premiered to critical acclaim at Fantastic Fest in 2024 and currently boasts a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Bleecker Street will release the film nationwide on October 10th. In addition, Mister Smith Entertainment will represent the international rights to the film beginning in Cannes this month.

A couple’s romantic getaway at a secluded lakeside estate is upended when they’re forced to share their place with a mysterious and attractive couple – turning a dream vacation into a nightmarish maze of sex, lies, and manipulation that brings terrifying secrets to light and triggers a bloody battle for survival.

Bone Lake is the latest film in a series of collabs between Bleecker Street and LD Entertainment, and is Bleecker’s latest release in their continuation of expanding into the genre space, following the release of Andrew Cumming’s acclaimed prehistoric horror-thriller Out of Darkness (2024) and upcoming creepypasta adaptation The Third Parent starring Rob Lowe, Crispin Glover and Roselyn Sanchez, which is currently in post-production and set for an early 2026 release.

Bone Lake is produced by Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, and Jacob Yakob for LD Entertainment, along with Joshua Friedlander and Jason Blumenfeld. Executive producers include Mehrdod Heydari and Joseph Yakob for LD Entertainment, as well as star Alex Roe. The deal was negotiated by Bleecker Street’s Avy Eschenasy and Miranda King, with LD’s Michael Glassman and UTA Independent Film Group on behalf of the filmmakers.
