The global tour for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping continued in Berlin on Monday evening, with Joseph Zada, Mckenna Grace and Whitney Peak, joined by director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson, bringing the film to German audiences for a special event screening at the iconic Zoo Palast.
Approximately 800 fans gathered outside the theater to welcome the cast and filmmakers. Inside, the event extended across four auditoriums, where Joseph, Mckenna, Whitney, Francis and Nina greeted audiences before coming together for an on-stage Q&A in the main auditorium.
For Berlin, the event leaned more directly into the film’s brighter, more colorful visual language. The same floral company that worked on the film’s production dressed the carpet and created two glass butterfly displays filled with foliage and flowers, bringing the natural beauty of the arena into the event space. Chariots used in the film, which were previously featured during the Paris stop, were also incorporated into the Berlin event. Photo Credit: Sebastian Gabsch
