The Naked Gun is a legacy sequel to the Leslie Nielsen-led Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994) and is the fourth film in the Naked Gun franchise. Directed by Akiva Schaffer, the film is written by Dan Gregor, Doug Mand and Schaffer with a supporting cast including Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston.
