Written and directed by Ari Aster, this contemporary Western follows a standoff between a sheriff and the mayor of Eddington, New Mexico amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 16, and will release in theatres on July 18, 2025.
