An English-language remake of the Korean film Save the Green Planet! (2003), Bugonia marks the fifth collaboration between director Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone following The Favourite (2018), Poor Things (2022), Kinds of Kindness (2024), and short film Bleat (2022).
