Well, if it couldn’t be any more prolonged for the caped crusader, Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II is delayed again to open on February 18, 2028.
It was originally supposed to debut on Oct. 2, 2026, but Warner Bros. delayed it to Oct. 1, 2027, and then announced a subsequent delay yesterday morning.
Robert Pattinson’s Batman will be accompanied in the sequel by Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan, plus Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry, and Sebastian Koch. Not much has been spilt about the film’s premise, although rumors have circulated that the Court of Owls and Doctor Arkham will make an appearance. Barry Keoghan’s take on the Joker is also set to return in the sequel, along with Colin Farrell’s The Penguin.
